Role in our Family
Reception
Support with providing quality guest experience including:
- Checking guest in and out whilst following the required IHG/Holiday Inn brand guidelines to ensure a smooth experience using the hotels PMS - Opera.
Assisting guests with inquiries and requests, escalating matters when necessary.
Managing the hotel's reception and lobby area, ensuring that it is clean, organised and well maintained.
Record guest complaints, special requests, and comments in the daily log and shared with Line Manager.
Provide information about hotel services and IHG One rewards membership benefits.
Communicate guest preferences to relevant departments to enhance their stay.
Perform security patrols and record them as required.
Assist with safe and orderly dispersal of guests departing events.
Act as part of the Fire team as needed.
F&B Operations
Assist with the preparation of the daily breakfast operations, ensure all food items are prepared and presented in accordance with the brand standard specifications.
Assist with any early takeaway breakfasts
Prepare night room service food to the required standards.
Assist with the preparation and set up of conference and event rooms as needed.
Ensure adherence to all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular checks to maintain compliance.
Assuming supplementary responsibilities as needed to support the delivery of a consistent exceptional guest experience.
