Waking Night Support Workers
to join our
Ofsted-regulated therapeutic children's home
in Goff's Oak, near Cheshunt.
This is a meaningful opportunity to provide safety, stability and emotional support to young people aged 10-17 overnight.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor the safety and wellbeing of young people through regular night-time checks
Provide calm reassurance, emotional support and consistency throughout the night
Respond appropriately to incidents and behaviour using trauma-informed practice
Follow safeguarding procedures, risk assessments and care plans at all times
Maintain accurate records, logs and incident reports in line with
Ofsted standards
Carry out domestic tasks to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment
Support morning routines and provide clear handovers to day staff
Participate in supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional training
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting
children or young people
in residential care, social care, education or youth work
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
(or willingness to complete this qualification)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build safe, trusting relationships
Emotional resilience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations
Understanding of
safeguarding
, professional boundaries and trauma-informed care
Full UK driving licence
desirable but not essential
