Job Description

Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Self Employed Courier to join our team to work 7 days a week! As a Courier, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of Newspapers and Magazines to various locations. The role also requires courier drivers to ONLY deliver newspapers and Tote box magazines as well as collect any unsold products and return them to base.

- Fortnightly Pay (Wednesdays)

- Very short working hours are between 02:30am and 6:30am

- Monday to Sunday

- 6 Month rolling contract

Duties:

- Drive a commercial van to deliver packages to designated locations

- Driver will drive on the same planned route every day

- Load and unload newspapers and tote boxes, requiring heavy lifting at times

- Scanner provided and is used to track and record deliveries

- Follow premade route order to meet delivery times

- Adhere to safety regulations while driving and handling goods

- Complete warehouse duties per shift

Requirements:

- Hi Vis vest and safety boots are essential in warehouse

- Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous

- Ability to drive and operate Long Wheel Base Van

- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques

- Excellent communication skills

- Full UK License

- Strong organisational skills to manage warehouse packing and delivery schedules

- Ability to work independently as job is lone work.

- 2 days of ride along shadowing

Pay: 80.00 per day
