Key Responsibilities
To oversee all aspects of the day to day operation of the site.
Liaising with the Operations Manager to ensure the business objectives and the priorities of the company are met.
Assist in the recruitment and training of all team members
Maintaining all necessary records to ensure all internal and statutory obligations are met.
Completion of departmental audits and standard checks.
Financial Performance
To manage the business to meet budgetary targets, sales, margins and profit.
Adopt a planned approach to cost control to include wage forecasts that meet the need of the business (flexibility in relation to sales)
Focus on sales through actively promoting, developing and growing the business.
Ensure the staff are trained to support sales and service.
To ensure weekly and monthly stock checks are completed.
Invoice and delivery notes to be processed on time.
To liaise with independent Stock Takers maintaining sales, delivery and wastage records as required.
To ensure security of stocks and cash.
Communicating Effectively (externally)
Following the Company guidelines when using or dealing with external contractors, local authorities and suppliers.
Developing and maintaining relationships with local authorities, licencing and company consultants.
Liaise with promotors and DJ's to ensure excellent working relationships are maintained.
Communicating Effectively (internally)
Attending and participating in all relevant meetings about the responsibilities of the position
Taking part in the company MDP programme
Establishing and communicating individual and organisational goals.
Supporting and developing Assistant Managers and team
Developing and maintaining relationships with team members through support and coaching.
Communicate regularly with site sales & marketing, stepping in proactively when required.
Team Support
To ensure all staff members receive site induction.
Assisting in recruiting, training and motivating team members to meet the needs of the business.
Conduct regular staff appraisals
Ensure all staff training records are up to date
To ensure all staff represent the Company in a positive light with regard to correct attire, and standards of performance.
Administration
Adhering to Company administration procedures.
Completing all daily/ weekly reports effectively.
Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements for employment
Regularly complete audits of systems and procedures.
Ensure wage information is passed to head office
Ensure all new starter paperwork is sent to head office and copies retained securely on site taking into account data protection legislation
Health & Safety/Legal
Assisting in providing a safe and secure environment for all customers and team members.
Ensure safe working practices
Ensure all employees receive all necessary Health and Safety Training.
Act as personal license holder and ensure compliance with all licensing conditions
Work in conjunction with the company Health and Safety Consultant when and where required.
Maintaining the Working Environment
Assisting in making provision for planned and preventative departmental maintenance.
Helping to ensure that all machinery, is maintained
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
