We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible. Follow personalised care plans to meet each resident's specific needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery. Support with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required. Ensure the safety and comfort of all residents at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Skills

Qualification in health and Social care Level 2 is essential Good communication skills in Welsh and English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly. Strong organisational skills to follow care plans accurately and manage multiple responsibilities. Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
