Hours:

22:00 - 08:00 | 3 nights on, 3 nights off (includes weekends & bank holidays)

We're looking for a kind, dependable Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Towy Castle Care Home. If you're compassionate, observant, and want to make a real difference to others while they rest, this could be the ideal role for you.

About Towy Castle

Nestled within three acres of landscaped gardens and overlooking the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home with over 35 years of trusted experience. We provide high-quality dementia and elderly care in a warm, respectful, and family-style environment where every member of the team plays a vital role in creating a safe and homely space for our residents.

Your Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you'll be a reassuring presence throughout the night, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and cared for.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting residents with personal care and bedtime routines Providing comfort, companionship, and reassurance overnight Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding promptly to their needs Assisting with early morning routines before handover Maintaining a calm, clean, and safe environment throughout the shift

What We're Looking For

? Previous night shift experience in a care setting (

essential

)
? Knowledge of dementia care and night routines (preferred)
? Compassionate, calm, and observant nature
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete)
? Reliable team player with good communication skills
