12.60 per hour

Permanent, Full-Time

Hours:

22:00 - 08:00 | 3 nights on, 3 nights off (including weekends & bank holidays)

We're looking for a Night Care Assistant who can bring calm, compassion, and reliability to the team at Towy Castle Care Home. You'll play a vital role in supporting residents through the night, providing reassurance, dignity, and care when it matters most.

About Us

Towy Castle Care Home sits in three acres of beautiful gardens with breath-taking views of the Towy estuary. Our 61-bed home has provided high-quality dementia and residential care for over three decades. We're proud of our long-standing team who work together to create a warm, respectful, and family-like atmosphere for residents.

Your Responsibilities

Support residents with night-time care routines, including washing, dressing, and mobility Provide emotional reassurance and a friendly presence throughout the night Check on residents' comfort and safety, responding promptly to any needs Prepare residents for the morning and assist with early routines before handover Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the home overnight

What We're Looking For

? Previous experience in a care environment (essential)
? Familiarity with dementia care and night-time support (preferred)
? Calm, caring, and dependable nature with good observation skills
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
? Team player who values dignity, respect, and high standards of care
