We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nights Care Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with evening routine and activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support individuals in accordance with personalised care plans, ensuring their needs and preferences are met Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals Support clients with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required

Requirements

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients Good organisational skills with the ability to follow care plans accurately Strong IT skills for maintaining records and documentation Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing Ability to work flexibly, including shifts that may involve evenings or weekends if necessary Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a care environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
