Glass Cutting Manufacturing Operative - Nights - Tankersley

Hours/Pay:

• Sunday to Thursday - 10pm to 6am
• 13.85 per hour

Main Duties:

• Operate automated machinery and manage on-site fumes safely
• Handle and inspect glass of various sizes, ensuring consistent quality
• Assemble glass inserts to meet customer specifications
• Fit beading, install glass panes, and seal them into frames
• Assemble window units, adding handles, locks, and hinges
• Conduct final product inspections to ensure high standards
• Pack finished products securely for dispatch
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Assist with tool and machinery maintenance
• Work towards daily production targets while maintaining safety

Skills Required:

• Previous glass cutting and measuring experience is essential
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly work preferred (training provided)
• Confident using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Team player with a proactive attitude
