Are you ready to be part of a nationally acclaimed model that's reshaping how we support vulnerable young people? We're looking for a Portfolio Lead to join our innovative No Wrong Door team.
About the Service
No Wrong Door is a unique service that supports vulnerable young people aged 12-25. We offer care through residential homes and outreach support, helping young people build resilience, reduce risks, and move towards independence. Our goal is to help them achieve positive life outcomes. The post holder will need to be a resilient, flexible and skilled worker with experience of supporting children and young people with complex needs, preferably in a residential setting.
About the role
As a Portfolio Lead, you'll be at the heart of our multi-disciplinary team, delivering direct care and support across residential and hub placements. You'll:
Lead shifts and be responsible for the direct day-to-day care of young people within our residential home.
Develop specialised knowledge and skills in one area of the No Wrong Door Core Offer.
Support young people on the edge of care and care leavers post-18.
Work within a defined culture and intervention practice model.
Act as a role model and mentor, supporting staff and supervising relief workers.
Promote restorative and solution-focused approaches in all aspects of care.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who is:
Resilient, flexible, and committed to working with young people with complex needs.
Experienced in residential care or similar settings.
Skilled in risk management, communication, and relationship-building.
Confident in using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
Able to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and waking nights.
You'll also need to hold (or be willing to work towards) a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
