With our ongoing Expansion and Elevation Strategy, we are currently seeking a NOC Team Leader to join our Network Operations Center Team. With a converged network connecting our Brands and Operations across 20+ countries, including Branch Locations, Distributions Centers, Cloud and On-Premises Datacenters around the globe. Our growing team of Engineers is looking for the perfect colleague to help with the continuing growth as well as our technology transformation journey. The role involves:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Network Operations Center
  • Work with other IT teams to ensure the overall health of the IT and Network Infrastructure
  • Provide mentoring to the technical team to ensure they are working efficiently and accurately
  • Function as a technical point of escalation for the 2nd Line and Field Engineering teams as required
  • Track updates and resolve all assigned incidents, changes, and problems
  • To focus on the development of processes and workflow analysis within the NOC
  • Working with the line manager to provide necessary documentation & reporting on actions required/taken, including root cause analysis of issues
This role is based on-site at our Shirebrook HQ 5 days a week

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in team lead or project manager role within IT, preferably in a NOC environment. However, anyone working in a similar position not in IT would still be considered.
  • Clear passion for a career in IT, specifically networks, and looking to grow within the business
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills
Desirable:
  • Cisco Entry Level Networking Technician (CCENT) or Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), or any equivalent qualification.
  • Strong understanding of network operations, WAN protocols, routing protocols, and switching
