Senior Node.js Developer

to join a long-term project on a part-time retainer basis. The role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of backend services using Node.js with a strong emphasis on the

Nest.js framework

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Nest.js Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and designers Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions Support the integration of APIs and third-party services Ensure performance, security, and scalability best practices are met

Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience with Node.js 2+ years of experience with Nest.js Solid understanding of TypeScript, RESTful API design, and modern backend architecture Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
