Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of
noise-induced hearing loss claims
from inception to settlement.
Provide expert legal advice to clients on their rights and prospects of success.
Investigate claims, including gathering medical evidence, employment records, and witness statements.
Liaise with medical experts, insurers, and employers to build strong cases.
Draft legal documents, including letters of claim, court pleadings, and settlement agreements.
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court if necessary.
Stay updated on changes in
health & safety regulations, industrial disease law, and NIHL case precedents
.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
Participate in business development, including networking with trade unions, occupational health providers, and potential clients.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor, legal executive
or qualified by experience
Proven experience in
personal injury law
, preferably with a focus on
industrial disease or NIHL claims
.
Strong knowledge of
Employers' Liability and the Control of Noise at Work Regulations
.
Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and client communication skills.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
