About the Role
We're looking for an experienced
Non-Ferrous Grader
to join our busy scrap metal operation. You'll be responsible for accurately identifying, grading, and valuing non-ferrous metals to ensure consistent quality and compliance with company and industry standards.Key Responsibilities
Identify and grade a wide range of non-ferrous metals (e.g. copper, aluminium, brass, lead, stainless steel, cables, etc.) Ensure materials are sorted correctly and meet specification for processing or resale Maintain a clean, organised work area and uphold site safety standards Support yard operations including loading/unloading and assisting customers when required Work closely with the buying and transport teams to ensure smooth yard flow
What We're Looking For
Proven experience grading and sorting non-ferrous metals in a scrap or recycling environment Strong knowledge of metal types, grades, and contamination standards Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced yard
