NFT Test Lead

An awesome opportunity to lead NFT on a Greenfield level, picking tooling, strategy and hands on whilst growing a team. Highly technical enviromment in a company with serious backing. Salary: \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa370,000 per annum Edinburgh based, need to be close enough to office if a meeting is needed, but remote Scotland and Hybrid available. The Role Looking for an experienced and dedicated Non-Functional Test Lead who will work within a test team and supporting a multidisciplinary SCRUM teams. You will take the lead on providing an excellent non-functional test capability and play a crucial role in helping us deliver high quality products to a high technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Working with product and development teams to ascertain and elaborate appropriate non-functional requirements for our systems; performance, load, stress, reliability, interoperability, security etc
• Develop non-functional test strategy and test plans to meet requirements
• Develop test systems, tools and methods as needed to perform non-functional test, monitoring and reporting
• Working with Product and SCRUM teams to co-ordinate development and release process
• Manage and grow the non-functional test function within the client, along with and to meet our growth strategy
• Line management and career growth of the team members
• Work with the SCRUM team to ensure that non-functional requirements are testable
• Work with the wider team to optimise the efficiency and efficacy of test systems
• Generate appropriate test specifications and appropriate test automation, monitoring and reporting
• Actively participate in ongoing improvement initiatives helping to shape the team to optimise our potential.

Required Knowledge/Experience Essential:

• Software Development or Computer Science degree, or relevant experience
• Strong experience in a non-functional test or related role
• Test planning & strategy
• Experience of Non-functional test strategies, tools and methods
• Good communication skills
• Defect communication and management
• Development of automated tests using common frameworks eg JMeter
• Familiar with agile software development eg SCRUM, KANBAN
