Job Description

We are looking for a Mental Health Clinician , with extensive adult community mental health knowledge, who has completed their Non-Medical Prescribing Course, or is currently undertaking the course.

We are looking for people to join us to continue to build a successful service. We aim to continuously improve the service delivery and outcomes as a part of NSFT.



Practice as a non-medical prescriber (independent/supplementary prescribing) in accordance with the Trust's non-medical prescribing policy and protocols.



Prescribe as an independent/supplementary prescriber within ones scope of competency and in accordance with Trust and national policies.



Following national training and a period of actively prescribing as a supplementary prescriber, to work as an independent non-medical prescriber within the designated areas of clinical practice.



Be responsible and accountable for the assessment of the patient with diagnosed and undiagnosed conditions and for decisions about the clinical management required including prescribing .



Be accountable for accurate mental health clustering of all patients on caseload.



Ensure all mental health clustering information is passed onto other Trust teams or services on transfer of patients.



Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and quality of mental health clustering activity within the team.
