Lavender International is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our growing Ultrasonics team as an Apprentice in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). This is an excellent opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications and valuable hands-on experience within a global training provider.

As a leading NDT apprenticeship provider, Lavender International offers a structured and supportive learning environment. You will participate in our internal Level 2 apprenticeship scheme, benefiting from one-on-one mentoring, project-based learning, and practical training. Upon completion, you will achieve your PCN Level 2 certification in Manual Ultrasonic Testing.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of training materials and ensure all equipment is operational Maintain accurate training and examination records in line with BINDT and client requirements Support the delivery of high-quality training by aiding instructors in both theory and practical sessions Perform equipment calibration and assist in maintaining practical training environments Monitor inventory and maintain cleanliness and organisation of all learning areas Invigilate and/or mark PCN examinations in accordance with CP/09 and CP/22 standards Stay up to date with personal certifications and skills relevant to the role

What We're Looking For

Essential Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong IT skills, including basic software applications A proactive, self-motivated approach to work Willingness and flexibility to travel both within the UK and internationally Good foundational knowledge of mathematics and English Confidence in presenting or speaking in group settings

Desirable Qualifications

GCSEs (Grade A-C / 9-4) in Maths and English
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
