As we scale rapidly, we're seeking a strategic, well-connected
Non-Executive Director with expertise in primary education
to join our advisory board and help drive our next phase of growth.
The Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced individual with deep roots in the primary education sector. This remote, non-executive position will play a critical role in helping LaunchPad Sports strengthen our relationships with schools, expand our reach, and refine our offering to meet the evolving needs of educators and pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Guidance:
Advise on education strategy and support decision-making at a board level.
Sector Expertise:
Offer insights into the primary education landscape, curriculum, and school priorities.
Network Development:
Facilitate introductions to headteachers, governors, MAT leaders, and key stakeholders.
Programme Enhancement:
Help shape and refine our school offerings, with a focus on quality, inclusivity, and impact.
Advocacy & Influence:
Be a champion for LaunchPad within the education sector, helping to raise awareness and build credibility.
Who We're Looking For
Extensive experience in the UK
primary education sector
(e.g. Headteacher, School Improvement Lead, MAT leader, or Education Consultant).
A
strong network
of contacts across schools, trusts, and governing bodies.
A deep understanding of school priorities, challenges, and how external partners can add value.
Experience or interest in
primary physical education
is highly desirable.
Passionate about the positive impact of sport and physical activity on young people.
Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute meaningfully to board-level conversations.
