Job Title: Non-Financial Risk Manager (NFRM) – Corporate Bank NFR Coverage Manager Location: London Corporate Title: Vice President You will be joining the NFRM function, the purpose of the function is to ensure that the Bank’s Non-Financial Risk exposure is adequately managed in-line with the group risk appetite. You will be working closely with the Corporate Bank, infrastructure functions and Second Line of Defense (2LoD) risk controllers to ensure risks are identified, assessed, managed and remediated, and to ensure a robust implementation of the NFRM framework.   • Advise and oversee implementation of NFRM activities e.g. perform Level 2 (NFRM) controls to quality assure the implementation of the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Framework
  • Ensure clear/demonstrable challenge to the risk owners regarding risk assessments and implementation of framework components
  • Monitor the NFR profile for businesses e.g. review end-to-end process risk assessments and material NFR information, consider internal and external drivers for impact to risk profile
  • Assess key risks and controls e.g. review lessons learned, deep dives, scenario analysis/emerging risk discussions, transformation risk and new product reviews
  • Working collaboratively across NFRM, business, risk type controllers and infrastructure functions to ensure a complete and transparent view of the risk profile Your skills and experience
  • Strong understanding of NFRM objectives, framework and core processes with significant experience in a similar role within a global financial institution in a business, risk management or other relevant control function
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and a desire to work collaboratively to facilitate successful risk management within the 3 lines of defense (3LoD) model
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to distil complex content into simple messaging
  • Demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple tasks, excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise
  • Comprehensive understanding of transactions/products offered by a Bank, supporting infrastructure and controls. An understanding of FinTech/Digital finance and related emerging risk themes/trends beneficial How we’ll support you
