Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care and support within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, assisted living, and patient management. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively lead and supervise staff while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.

Duties

Oversee daily operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance. Coordinate patient care plans, including medication administration and case management for residents with diverse needs. Facilitate training and development for staff members in areas such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities. Maintain accurate records of patient care, including medical imaging and laboratory results. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided to residents. Address any concerns or issues raised by residents or their families promptly and professionally. Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being of both residents and staff.

Requirements

NVQ 3 or above Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, or nursing home settings. Strong background in patient care. Demonstrated ability in team management and supervising experience within a healthcare environment. Familiarity with anatomy knowledge and medication administration protocols. Experience working with children or toddlers is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. A compassionate approach towards individuals requiring special care, including those with dementia or disabilities. Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or related fields are preferred.
