As a professional driver, you will be using a range of vehicles including Hookloaders, Refuse Collection Vehicles and Front-End Loaders throughout Staffordshire and the surrounding areas, collecting non-hazardous waste and recyclable material.
Working closely with our busy customers, you must be polite, adept and customer focused. Attention to detail, and an ability to follow instruction is essential.
Please note: Varying vehicle types and a range of circumstances indicate there will be elements of manual labour involved in day-to-day tasks.
Shift Patterns:
14:00 - 00:00 Monday - Friday
These normal hours of work may be varied to meet the needs of the Company

We are an independently run business with almost 100 years of experience as a waste management company and in our long history we have always invested in the most up to date services and technology. We can handle the most difficult and hazardous waste as well as smaller domestic waste, so everyone is catered for.
We aim for "zero to landfill", and this is a firm target that we believe we can meet. We have 4.5 acres of facilities, which include:
MRF (Materials recycling facility)
Scrap metal processing facilities
Baling plant for cardboard, polythene and paper
Document shredding facilities
RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) processing plant.
About you:
Full LGV Class C Licence
Valid CPC
Digital Tacho Card
A full understanding and willingness to demonstrate EU Drivers hours & regulations
Excellent geographical knowledge
Customer focused attitude
Previous waste management experience (preferable)
