Role Overview:

Are you ready to lead a high-performing team and make a meaningful impact in agricultural consultancy? Genus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Farm Consultancy Team Leader to oversee our North region consultancy team. This is a unique opportunity to combine leadership, mentoring, and hands-on consultancy work in a role that directly supports the success of farming businesses across the region.



You'll be responsible for guiding a team of consultants, driving performance, and delivering top-tier advisory services to clients. If you're passionate about agriculture, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have a knack for developing talent, we'd love to hear from you.


You Will:
Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the North consultancy team Provide line management, goal setting, and performance reviews for junior and mid-level consultants Mentor and coach team members through on-farm guidance and skills development Drive team performance to meet sales, delivery, and quality targets Collaborate with other Team Leaders and the Head of Farm Consultancy to align strategies and share best practices

Requirements:
Proven experience in agricultural consultancy or farm advisory services Strong leadership and team development skills Excellent planning, communication, and relationship-building abilities Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset Experience mentoring professionals in both technical and business development areas Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to process improvement A degree in agriculture is desirable but not essential Full driving licence required
