NOTTING HILL + travel: S/charge, Daily Nanny (B5 & G3 years)
NOTTING HILL W2 + travel: Early November start (driver preferred)
Early November start in NOTTING HILL W2: We have a very lovely appointment for returning clients, a professional, UK/Norwegian family, who are seeking a new full time, Daily Nanny for their 2 children; B5 & G3 years.
The family:

• British/Norwegian family, a bilingual household
• 2 children: B5 & G3 years.
• Location: Notting Hill (+ travel to the Wiltshire countryside home and Norway)
• Mum works from home most days but does travel for work
• Boy is in Year 1 and little girl is at nursery

What we are looking for:

• Full time, professional, Daily Nanny.
• Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 -19:00.
• Predominantly sole charge care.
• A nanny with a driver's license is preferred, though the children cycle to school every day.
• Full nanny duties, responsible for things such as: cooking for the children; homework, organising play dates; school & nursery runs; keeping toys and child-related items organised and tidy; laundry for children; grocery shopping for children; maintaining hygiene in children's areas and kitchen; bath & bedtime routines.
• An active nanny, who enjoys being outdoors and active with the children and is also patient and calm.
• The family has a cleaner so no house cleaning is required, but general child-related cleaning would be expected - a tidy-as-you-go mentality.
• The parents do not have family in London so it is important to them nanny is OK to take on occasional proxy parenting - sometimes over weekends - with prior notice.

Travelling with the family is key and our clients travel a few times a year, and would be very grateful for the nanny to join them (and if nanny does not want to travel as much with the family we would ask that holiday days are used, or unpaid leave can be taken during these periods):

• Occasionally - and with prior notice - the nanny might be asked to do proxy care over a weekend.
• The family likes to go somewhere for winter sun or skiing early part of the year and would like nanny to accompany them (skiing not required).
• A week in Norway in December (but not over Christmas).
• In the summer months, the family goes to Norway every July and the nanny will be expected to go with them for 1 week, likewise Southern Europe in August.

Remuneration:

• Our clients will offer 5 weeks holiday to compensate for the amount of travelling and proxy parenting that might be required.
• *Top* remuneration package available.

The family is located in Notting Hill within easy walking distance of Notting Hill Gate, Westbourne Park, Royal Oak & Bayswater underground stations. A driver would be super-helpful, but if the nanny ticks all the other requirements and is able to travel, there might be some wriggle room for non-driving applicants (car is auto).
Interviews are now taking place for a mid-autumn start (their preferred choice is that the new nanny is in-situ by 3rd November to have a couple of weeks handover with their outgoing nanny).
