Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury's to name a few. Over the past 25 years Taiko has launched more first to market Sushi and Food to Go products than any other sushi manufacturer in the UK.


We are now looking for a proactive and organised NPD Coordinator to join our dynamic team and support the development of new and exciting food concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the organisation, preparation, and distribution of customer samples. Complete new product costings as requested by the NPD Manager. Maintain and update the NPD product platform and product information at recipe level. Assist in preparing presentations and submission forms for internal and customer use. Contribute to the creation of new outer case boxes and label cutter guides. Manage and complete artwork approvals in collaboration with relevant teams. Develop supporting documents for project handovers (e.g., HACCP forms). Help organise NPD photoshoots and events. Participate in taste panels and product tastings to support development. Order equipment required for NPD activities. Provide general support to the NPD team and contribute to wider company initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Strong organisational and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Passion for food and innovation 1+ year previous experience in a similar NPD or food manufacturing role is a plus
