About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on

NPD Kitchen Assistant

to join our dynamic food production team. Working closely with our NPD team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the development, testing, and launch of new and innovative food products.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation, cooking, and testing of new product samples. Accurately weigh, measure, and record ingredients following recipes and formulations. Support kitchen trials, product tastings, and factory-scale-ups. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the NPD kitchen and equipment. Label, pack, and store samples in line with company food safety and allergen protocols. Assist with sensory evaluations and sample deliveries to internal and external stakeholders. Record and input data for trials and development sessions. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a food manufacturing, catering, or development kitchen environment desirable. Strong interest in food innovation and new product development. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred). Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks. A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
