- NPD and Brand Manager

Hours: 37.5 hrs a week plus 30 min break (Mon-Fri)

Direct Reports: NPD Assistant, Social Media & Content Executive

The Role

Reporting to Managing Director

The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, managing new product launches and be willing to go the extra mile to create and market innovative and functional products.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and owning new and existing product development from idea conception to first launch Feed NPD funnel with new concepts and plan long term strategy Working with NPD assistant to produce recipes Ingredient sourcing and selection Reaching cost targets and commercial mindset Organising and managing machine trials Assisting with legal information for packaging and marketing Artwork briefs, management of updates and approvals Ensuring products are launched within budget and on time Liaising with co-man clients as required for projects Researching and keeping up to date with food trends Assisting and advising production Managing branding activities- rebrands, marketing plans and long term brand planning Oversee social media and content executive to ensure accurate and engaging content is generated and promoted Ensure marketing activity is in line with the brand values and is accurate
Requirements:

Essential-

5 years' experience within NPD in the food industry 1-2 years' experience in managing product launches Strong understanding of food manufacturing Highly organised Proven experience in product development Knowledge of food safety standards (BRC, HACCP...) Experience in hands on recipe development Enthusiasm for food innovation and functional products
Nice to have:

Experience or understanding of product branding and awareness of marketing strategies Understanding of social media and content creation

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
