About the NPD Manager job

This vacancy has been created due to company expansion \xe2\x80\x93 they are looking at very significant growth in their turnover in the next 3-4 years. Very much a hands-on role which will initially report directly to the MD and have one direct report.

Key tasks

• Liaising closely with the commercial team on current and proposed projects.
• Coordinating development work with customers.
• Implementing NPD management and product launch processes.
• Organising and coordinating product trials in the factory.
• Proposing new NPD structure and requirements after the initial three month probationary period - vision for NPD.

About You

You will need good previous experience within food manufacturing NPD but the company will consider someone stepping up into a management position so this could be a great career move to make a name for yourself!

Ideally you will have some supervisory experience and the ability to implement new systems and processes. In addition:

• Be a proficient presenter across all levels both internally and externally.
• Have the ability to work effectively within strict cost/time parameters.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to influence, make decisions and manage ambiguity within a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Love food and have great culinary knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 be a \xe2\x80\x98foodie\xe2\x80\x99 with a commercial focus who is able to combine creativity with a complete understanding of full-scale production practicalities.

The working hours are Monday to Friday.
