Overview

Mademoiselle Desserts develops and creates amazing cakes and desserts for food service.

We have an exciting opportunity in our Corby bakery.

The Process Technologist assists with the smooth transition new products working with New Product Development, Technical & Production Departments in order to bring new products into full production. Reporting directly to the Process Development Manager but working closely with the NPD team.

Day to day responsibilities will include

Having a natural interest and passion in food Maintain a close working relationship with all departments of the company Develop a full understanding of the Company's Key Competencies and knowledge of the Production. Assist in the smooth transition of successful products into production Work within the prescribed development system (Recipe Sheets, Assembly Sheet, Baking Profiles, Photography Standards, QAS, Packing Information Sheets & Trial Reports, IFS System) Implement working processes to ensure accurate collation of information regarding ingredients, recipes, assembly sheets and packaging. Ensure that all documentation and procedures comply with BRC requirements and ready for BRC annual audits. To create and maintain a critical path to track and manage the timeline for a successful launch process. Maintaining the nutritional calculation system and ensuring assemblies are accurate with relevant raw materials. Support sample submission process, completion of specifications in an accurate and timely manner to strict deadlines.

Formal Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge

Food Science Background would be welcomed but not essential

Work experience within Food Manufacturing

Food Safety Level 2 (as a minimum)

Good knowledge of MS Office - Word / Excel / PowerPoint
