We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated New Product Introduction Manager to join our team at Parafix.

As New Product Introduction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful introduction of new products into the business. You will lead a team of technical engineers and coordinators, chairing technical meetings to ensure thorough feasibility assessments. The NPI Manager will set the team specific deliverables that meet both Parafix and customer expectation to ensure both customer satisfaction and profitable business.

You will take the lead on all technical quotations to ensure the best manufacturing processes are utilised to enable competitive pricing. You will lead on reviewing quotation accuracy as well as driving corrective actions. You will take full responsibility of maintaining all quotations KPIs, including conversion rate and turn around time.

This is a key role that bridges engineering, sales, and operations, playing a pivotal part in winning new business and supporting customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, review and approve complex quotes, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with company pricing strategies. Develop and maintain efficient quoting processes, tools, and documentation. Own the NPI Process including development of BOMs, Routes and relevant internal documentation packs. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, procurement, and sales to gather input and align on solutions. Ensure full understanding of customer requirements through detailed review of technical drawings, specifications, validation and commercial terms. Develop and maintain process knowledge and monitor industry developments. Manage a team of technical engineers and coordinators. Chair internal cross functional meetings. Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and development as needed. Support key customer meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations when required. Analyse win/loss trends and continuously improve quotation accuracy, turnaround time, and competitiveness.
Essential:

Proven experience in a quotations, estimating, or technical sales role within manufacturing. Prior team leadership or supervisory experience. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost drivers in a manufacturing environment. Excellent technical understanding of engineering drawings and production processes. Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:

Qualification in Manufacturing or Engineering Project Management Qualification
Salary is dependant on experience.

Please note this role is 37.5 hours Monday-Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
