Brean Splash Waterpark at UNITY Beach Holidays is recruiting for

trainee non-qualified pool lifeguards.

Unlike other local facilities we are open all year and can therefore offer all year-round work as a pool lifeguard whether on a part-time or full-time basis, or casual weekend and holiday work.

Duties of a pool lifeguard include ensuring guest safety whilst using the facility, enforcing pool and water slide rules, cleaning and some reception work. Our attraction includes 6 lane 25m pool, splash zone with slides, baby pool and two large indoor waterslides. We also have a large outdoor waterslide complex. We have a large shop and cafe serving Starbucks coffee and new gym, sauna and steam room.

We will provide you with free training (terms & conditions apply) to achieve the

NPLQ professional pool lifeguard qualification course dates are 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th May 2025 (you will need to be available on all of these dates

, subject to you attending a pre course interview and agreeing to working minimum hours following completion of the course. You must be;

16 years old at the start of the course Able to swim 50 meters in no more than a minute. Able to jump/dive into deep water. Able to swim 100 meters continuously on front and back. Happy to be completely submerged to a max depth of 1.2 meters. Able to tread water in deep water for a period of no less than 30 seconds. Able to climb out of the pool unaided without using steps/ladders.
