NQ Real Estate Solicitor
The Opportunity
A leading national law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Solicitor (NQ) to join its highly regarded Commercial Property team based in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-value, high-profile real estate transactions and development projects across a broad range of sectors. You will advise developers, investors, property companies, and corporate occupiers on major deals that help shape the commercial landscape.
You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team recognised for its technical excellence, commercial acumen, and client-focused approach. Key Responsibilities
Acting on the acquisition, disposal, and development of commercial property assets.
Advising on structuring transactions, conditional contracts, and joint venture arrangements.
Assisting with pre-lettings, lettings, and sale-and-leaseback transactions.
Drafting and negotiating a wide range of property documents including contracts, leases, transfers, and ancillary deeds.
Managing title reviews, searches, enquiries, and post-completion processes.
Working alongside partners and senior lawyers on complex matters while taking ownership of your own caseload.
Developing strong client relationships and liaising with external advisers such as agents and surveyors.
Supporting business development initiatives, client events, and internal training.
About You
Qualified Solicitor (NQ) with solid training experience in commercial property or real estate.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Ambitious, enthusiastic, and eager to develop a career in high-value real estate work.
