Clinical:

Participate in the daily quality control of the gamma camera systems and other nuclear medicine equipment.To perform general nuclear medicine scans and procedures under the direct supervision of registered radiographers or technologists.To process images using the relevant SOPs under the supervision of registered radiographers or technologistsBecome and remain competent at image manipulation.To maintain the high standard of appearance and hygiene expected from members of the Directorate staff and to comply with the uniform policy. Professional Development: Communicate to a range of stakeholders including patients and medical staff to ensure a safe and effective working environmentShow evidence of Continued Professional Development. Fulfil mandatory training requirements, in-service and staff development training and take part in the annual appraisal system.Comply with all relevant Trust policies and procedures.Report all incidents or accidents involving patients, visitors or staff and ensure complete accurate statements and reports are submitted.Liaise with the department leads regarding equipment maintenance and faults, ensuring that the correct documentation is completed. Accepted Level 3 qualifications:

A Level a minimum of 96 points (CCC) including one subject at 32 points/Grade C or higher from the following; Biology, Applied Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Health and Social Care, Mathematics, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Applied Science, Science in Society, Sport and Physical Education, Sports Studies. T Level a minimum of pass grade (A-C in core components) in Healthcare Science or Science. BTEC Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare Science including pass grades in unites that relate to the PTP specialism. BTEC National Extended Diploma Grade MMM, including at least on relevant STEM subject.



Access to Higher Education - (60-credit) Diploma at least 15 credits must be in STEM-based units and graded merit or above.
