Nurse Administrator (IVF)



Location: The Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland



Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week



Shifts: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1600



Permanent



Salary: 30,484 per annum + excellent benefits




We're looking for an Administrator to support the Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland. The post holder will support the nursing team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic, assisting couples and single patients undergoing fertility treatments and be responsible for timely handling of medical notes. You will maintain effective communication channels between patients, staff and satellite services. Maintain the highest standard of clinical practice and patient care.


Please note, previous administration experience within a Fertility Clinic is essential.

What you'll do:



Answering the nursing phone line, managing non-clinical queries and appointment changes and escalating clinical queries ensuring patients are supported in a timely manner Scanning and uploading and archiving medical records Sending initial consent forms and emails to patients and partners in order to start treatment Assist senior staff in the co-ordination of activities within the Unit Liaise with clinicians, nurses and paramedical staff to enhance patients' treatment and care. To help maintain the clinical area so that it is safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff Assist with maintaining all stores and equipment; requisitioning supplies, repairs and replacements as required Be aware of current nursing practice and keep up-to-date in line with the HCA International and HFEA guidelines To enter patient information and treatment cycles on the computer and maintain and update as required Resolve complaints where possible and/or escalate to the LFCP Manager or senior staff if necessary

What you'll bring:



Previous Administration experience within a Fertility Clinic is essential Computer literate Excellent communication skills
