Our service is provided in a 24/7, 365 day environment; shifts include weekend & Bank Holidays

Shift Pattern:



Our standard shift structure is 12 1/2 hour shifts (includes unpaid break)

Day Shift - 7:30am-8:00pm Night Shift - 7:30pm-8:00am Homecare Shift - In the community (Hours vary)

Enhanced Rates - Weekends, Evenings & Bank Holidays



+30% Saturdays & Evenings +60% Sundays & Bank Holidays Competitive on-call rates

We are looking for an experienced, registered

Children's, Adult or Learning Disabilities Nurse

to work within a multidisciplined team, delivering holistic nursing care and support to babies, children and young people with palliative and end of life care needs and their families.


As a Band 6 Nurse, you will lead the shift, taking responsibility for coordinating the team on duty, ensuring that all required care is allocated and actioned for that shift for that shift are in place and undertake day-to-day operational duties as required.

Do you have experience:



As a shift leader in a Paediatric setting? Working with children with complex needs and/or palliative care?

Are you:



A Registered Nurse (Child, Adult or Learning Disabilities) with experience of caring for babies, children or young people in an acute, community, palliative or complex needs setting? Committed to making a real difference to the lives of babies, children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and their families?
To support your success, we will provide you with:

All the training and development required to deliver children's palliative care including: + Bespoke palliative and end of life care, clinical skills and long term ventilation training programmes
+ Support to attend external training opportunities
+ Participation in quality and safety groups
Regular clinical, safeguarding and management supervision to support your professional development. The support you need to enable you to provide safe and effective care and support to the children and their families who use our service.
