The service is operated by NBG Healthcare Limited, a care provider with a clinical leadership team grounded in decades of primary care, regulatory, and complex nursing experience. We are looking for a experienced Healthcare assistant to join our care team at our Chestnut Rise Nursing Home (purpose-built, 21-bed residential care facility delivering 24-hour residential nurse-led care to adults with complex needs).
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team delivering care to elderly people. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient centred care, ensuring the well-being of patients, and supporting medical staff with essential clinical duties. Duties
Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient needs
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols
Assist with medical procedures and support diagnostic tests as required
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing immediate assistance when necessary
Experience
Proven experience working as a Nurse in a hospital or carehome setting is preferred.
NMC registration is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Medicine administration with patient centred care
Demonstrated competence in medication administration and patient care procedures
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and provide reassurance to patients.
Patient handling, and working with patients with frailty condition.
Relevant nursing qualifications recognised by the appropriate regulatory body
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
