We have an opportunity for a band 6 equivalent nurse to join our Public Health & Diagnostics Team to workclosely with the NHS Health Checks Operations Manager to ensure the service is delivered safely and meets quality requirements.

What is the role?

Delivery of training for staff undertaking a health check - Fed internal team, Community Pharmacies & GP Practices as necessary Keeping Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) up to date / relevant Quality oversight and supervision of HCA's undertaking checks Quality oversight of Pharmacies undertaking checks - through quality measures in subcontract which includes POCT (Point of Care Testing) devices and IQA/EQA arrangements Quality oversight of Practices undertaking checks - through quality measures in subcontract which includes POCT (Point of Care Testing) devices and IQA/EQA arrangements

We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.

Contract type:

Permanent Part time - 15 hours per week
