Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest standards of patient care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing disciplines, including assisted living, senior care, and hospice care. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage and support a diverse team while fostering a compassionate environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities



Supervise and manage nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance patient safety and quality of care. Oversee case management for patients, ensuring that their needs are met effectively. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Provide guidance and support in areas such as medication administration, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging. Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff in areas such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with people with disabilities. Conduct regular assessments of patient conditions, particularly in settings involving ICU experience or home care. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications



Registered Nurse (RN) with valid licensure in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in nursing management or supervisory roles within assisted living, nursing homes, or similar settings. Strong background in patient care, including experience with children, toddlers, or individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with hospice care practices and senior care protocols is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical imaging techniques is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
