Lower Bowshaw View Nursing Home, now part of Altrua Care, is undergoing a period of transformation -- and we're seeking an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking Nurse Manager to lead this journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, working alongside the Directors and Nominated Individual to deliver meaningful change, strengthen governance, and drive sustained improvement in care quality and outcomes.
You will be required to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Registered Manager, taking professional accountability for the quality and safety of care within the service.
The role combines strong clinical leadership with strategic oversight -- ensuring care is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led, in line with CQC regulations and the home's transformation plan.
About you:
Registered Nurse (RN/RMN/RNLD) with current NMC registration Experience as a Deputy or Nurse Manager in a nursing home or similar regulated care setting. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and governance frameworks Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills Passionate about improvement, culture change, and person-centred care Commitment to registering with the CQC as the Registered Manager
