We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. As a night nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high quality clinical care, supporting residents wellbeing and overseeing the smooth operation of the home during the night.

Key responsibilities

Provide clinical care to elderly residents, including those with dementia, palliative and complex care needs. Administer medications safely and accurately, following NMC and home policies. Monitor and assess residents health, respond to emergencies and update care plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic care systems (Log My Care). Supervise and support night care staff, ensuring high standards of personal care and infection control. Communicate effectively with residents, families and day staff to ensure continuity of care. Carry out nightly checks, respond to call bells, and provide emotional and physical support as needed. Ensure the home remains safe , calm and compliant during night hours.

Requirements

Relevant Nursing qualification. Valid NMC registration. Experience working in elderly care or a nursing home setting (preferred). Sound clinical knowledge and experience in medication administration, wound care and end-of-life support. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Right to work in the UK.

Pay: 23.20 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
