Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for an experienced and passionate qualified Nurse to join our award-winning team at South Africa Lodge. South Africa Lodge is a 99-bedded service providing high quality care across 6 specialised units supporting residents with varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated GOOD with CQC.

What do you need?

Minimum 2 years experienced working as a Registered Nurse within the UK with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable) Experience working with adults that present with complex needs including challenging behaviours and mental health needs Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

What hours will you work?

Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14 day working pattern.

Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week

What will you be doing?

Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of resident's care is carried out by appropriate skilled members of staff Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants & Senior Health Care Assistants on shift Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner Respect the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of residents and staff at all times

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.



Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.



We currently have 4 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett and Bristol.
