This is a new service within an existing and successful residential care home

There are 3 positions available :

Position 1

is a 35hr a week post offered with FREE accommodation in a 1 bedroom flat in exchange for 3 on call nights

Position 2 i

s a 28hr post offered with FREE accommodation in a 1 bedroom flat in exchange for 4 on call nights

Position 3

is a 35hr post

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, , and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.

Knowledge of completion of the Decision Support Tool would be an advantage.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical histories. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during their treatment journey. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards within the healthcare setting.

Requirements

Valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Proven experience in patient care, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others recover and maintain their health. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
