Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a dynamic role in a vibrant school environment? As a Casual Nursery & Junior School Assistant or Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in the daily life of our junior school and nursery. We are currently seeking dedicated and flexible Casual Nursery & Junior School Assistants or Room Leaders to join our team, to cover absence, annual leave and support at peak times. This role primarily involves working during term-time, with occasional requirements during school holidays to support our all-year round nursery.
Role Overview:
Working closely with our dedicated staff, you will share insights to ensure every childs progress is monitored and supported. Effective communication with parents and carers will help build strong relationships and a cohesive approach to each child's development.
You will engage with children through a variety of activities that enhance their social and educational development. This includes setting up and clearing away materials and equipment for lessons and activities. You will help children develop independence and confidence.
Beyond the classroom, you will supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and extra-curricular activities, and accompany children on school trips. Flexibility is key, as you may also assist with administrative tasks, meal supervision, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
Working patterns can vary with shifts starting at 07:30 or finishing at 18:00 -
