We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team, offering a valuable opportunity to develop skills within the childcare and early childhood education sector. Duties
Assist senior staff in organising and supervising activities for children in a nursery or childcare setting
Support the delivery of early childhood education programmes, ensuring activities are engaging and age-appropriate
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Support behavioural management strategies under supervision to promote positive development
Contribute to the organisation of nursery resources and materials for daily activities
Experience
Prior experience working with children is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of management or leadership principles is advantageous
Experience with childcare or nursery environments will be highly regarded
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Applicates under 19 must hold English and Maths equivalant.
Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and organisational skills
Valid driving licence due to the rural location.
This apprenticeship offers an excellent foundation for those aspiring to build a career in early childhood education childcare settings. It provides valuable hands-on experience while supporting personal and professional growth in a supportive environment.
On completion will hold a Level 3 in childcare.
