Salary: 55,000-60,000 per annum (DOE) + Benefits


Location: London (Single-site with multi-site expansion plan)

We are recruiting for a Froebelian-inspired nursery with a Christian ethos, delivering exceptional early years education in a nurturing, values-led environment. As we transition from a single-site setting to a small group of 2-3 high-quality nurseries, we are seeking an experienced and visionary

Head of Growth, Admissions & Operations

to lead this exciting journey of expansion, while ensuring excellence in our operations and care.

Role Overview



This pivotal leadership role will shape the strategic direction of our nursery group and lead on all aspects of business development, operations, and admissions. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards we are known for, while driving growth and integrating new settings seamlessly into our ethos and systems.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development



Lead strategic growth from a single setting to a group of 2-3 outstanding nurseries. Conduct market research, site evaluations, and feasibility studies for new locations. Manage onboarding and integration of new sites into the group structure. Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to ensure full occupancy.

2. General Operations



Oversee daily operations across all nursery sites, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with our ethos. Develop and refine operational systems to ensure consistency, quality, and sustainability. Lead Ofsted readiness with a focus on achieving Outstanding ratings across all settings. Support event planning and logistics in collaboration with the nursery office team.

3. Admissions



Oversee the admissions pipeline to drive high conversion rates and full occupancy. Ensure an exceptional customer experience for prospective and current families. Monitor and enhance parent satisfaction, aiming for consistent 5-star feedback.

4. Team Leadership & Engagement



Build and maintain a positive, professional culture grounded in our Christian and Froebelian values. Support staff recruitment, HR processes, and retention strategies. Champion safeguarding, wellbeing, and professional development across the team.

Person SpecificationEssential



Proven leadership in multi-site nursery or early years settings. Demonstrated success in business development or expansion. Strong understanding of EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding. Exceptional team leadership, operational, and admissions strategy skills. Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and decision-making abilities.

Desirable



Knowledge of Froebelian, play-based, or child-led education approaches. Qualification in Early Years Education, Business, or Leadership. Experience in Christian or values-led educational environments.
