Summary
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Safe & Sound Day Nursery in Ballynahinch. This role is crucial in supporting our mission of providing exceptional care and education for young children, contributing positively to their growth and development.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities for children.
Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all children.
Support the supervisor in daily classroom activities and routines.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery space.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
Relevant experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
