We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment. As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and encouragement they need to thrive.
Duties
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote early childhood development. Provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children. Support children's learning through play and structured activities. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space. Observe and record children's progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and teamwork. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Team player
