Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to support the development and well-being of young children. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth for children aged 0-5 years. You will work closely with the nursery staff to ensure that each child receives the attention and care they need.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting. Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and their families. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as needed. Help manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Requirements

A background in Early Childhood Education or relevant childcare experience is preferred. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or outings. Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. A genuine love for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere.
