As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the daily activities of the nursery while fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Duties
Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development and learning.
Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
Support the lead nursery staff in maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and transitions between activities.
Build strong relationships with children and their families, providing updates on progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare.
Skills
Experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Leadership qualities to help guide and support children during activities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience.
