We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our early childhood education team. Duties

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children within the nursery setting Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment conducive to early childhood education Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical growth Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs Support management in maintaining nursery policies and procedures Assist with administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting Drive nursery vehicles when necessary to facilitate outings or transportation needs

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment Experience with organising activities that promote child development Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Valid driving licence is preferred to support transportation duties Experience with childcare management systems or record keeping is advantageous

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
