About Us
Dingley's Promise has been championing inclusive early years education since 1983. With five specialist centres across the UK, we provide safe, nurturing environments for children aged 0-5 with SEND to develop through personalised, play-based learning. Alongside this, we support families and early years professionals to create inclusive settings and improve outcomes for all children.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner at our Poole centre, you'll be an integral part of a passionate team delivering high-quality, inclusive early years care and education.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Building positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
Acting as a Key Person for a small group of children--observing, planning, and supporting their development through tailored activities
Working in partnership with colleagues, families, and external professionals to provide holistic support
Contributing to the smooth daily running of the centre while promoting Dingley's Promise values of compassion, inclusion, and empowerment
Working Hours:
Term-time sessions run from 9:15am to 2:45pm, with staff expected on-site from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Additional opportunities are available during our holiday playschemes (up to 9 days per year).
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals who are:
Qualified to Level 2 in Early Years or Childcare
Experienced in or enthusiastic about working with children with SEND (full training provided)
Kind, patient, and committed to inclusive, child-centred approaches
Strong communicators who work effectively within a team and with families
